As I painted, I sought to express the essence of water: fluid, calming, and in constant flow. This piece reflects the Throat Chakra, Vishuddha — a call to soften, to listen deeply, and to surrender.

'That moment when the sunlight seeps through the tree canopy in the early morning, when the light bounces off the branches and speaks to your soul.' 

I have been obsessed with tree canopies for some time, never looking at my feet - always up to the heavens to watch the birds with their joy soaring above. My daily walks are my sanctuary, the trees are nature's strength, deep rooted and holding entire eco systems within them, interconnected with everything, from the earth to the sky. I love watching the changing leaves and branches through the year and am captivated by the 'Komorebi' of the sunlight seeking through.
